Thursday was Bad Hair Day in the suite. We tested pH of certain shampoos, and then took our hair samples (20 strands of 6 inch hair) and tested the pH on each of them to determine how it affected the hair. We had treated, bleached hair which broke under certain pH solutions, "normal" healthy hair which passed the resiliency test quite well, and HORSE hair brought in by Chase which was amazing to view under the scope. Students walked away knowing what their own hair type was like, and which shampoos would work better for them!
