Much of our morning was spent reviewing for our Vocab and Spelling test tomorrow, and reviewing proper MLA writing procedures. All scholars got their paragraphs back that they wrote on power, and we discussed what needed to be fixed as far as format and proper writing in the literary present. We should all be on the same page now.
We also spent time working with GCF and LCM once again. Tomorrow the scholars will take a quick quiz on it, along with squares and cubes. We are moving right along in Singapore.
This afternoon found us finishing up our song of tribute and respect for the military. Tomorrow your scholars will be presenting the military personnel from Hill Air Force Base with a song and a care package basket that they have put together. Thank you to all the parents that contributed to making it so special. The assembly will begin at 10:15 and if you are available, please come and join us! :)
We also spent time working on our Odyssey projects this afternoon. The scholars worked in their lit circles groups to design a new cover for the front of the novel. They are putting together great pieces of art. Enjoy their work!
