Playing at the Park, Packing up, and Farewells

The last two days of school were full of packing and moving and cleaning and playing. We had a great time shooting off our rockets to complete  Newton's third law on Thursday morning. Scholars put their rockets together and we only lost one in a gutter and a couple to shattering. Most survived and some scholars took theirs home to shoot them off again. We then got our lunches and hiked down to spend some time in the park. We played baseball and bocci and hung around to enjoy the weather and the good company. We hiked back to school and called it a day.
Friday found the scholars all dressed for the assembly. They reviewed all the foundation stone sign language with the school and had a chance to wear their graduation sashes for all to see. We then played a couple games and finished moving some of my lighter objects downstairs. We celebrated our summer birthdays and then headed home. It all happened so fast...start to finish! It was a crazy busy year.
Happy Birthday Jonah!

All scholars were sent home with their report cards, NWEA reports and honors recommendation letters. Please be sure you have seen them!

We will be having a pool party in July (usually the end of the second week) at Layton Surf and Swim. I will post on the blog and send out emails when that time comes.
Enjoy summer and if your scholar wants to come and spend a day working on science or language arts, just email for augmentation!
God bless you all and thank you for a great year! :)
