Six Weeks and Counting!.....

There are a number of new links on the blog and it would be most beneficial and helpful to your students to be spending some time on them as they are helpful for review for the NWEA. They will be seeing them in class also, as I will have them work in groups especially with science review and spelling/language work. Thank you for helping them to review the vast amount of material they have studied this year in order to perform well on their tests and show off their knowledge!

Congratulations to Mckenna and Kooper for earning Integrity awards on Friday at our assembly, and congratulations to Sam, Ian, and William for their efforts in the GFA Spelling Bee. Friday was a busy day!

This week we will be diving into To Kill a Mockingbird, re-writing our research papers with proper Works Cited pages and citations, and beginning to write our moral codes. We have much to accomplish in a short time! Soon we will be having a meeting concerning graduation, and we have a Forensics tournament coming up in two weeks.... :)

You should have gotten an invitation to the GFA picnic to be held on the 20th at Golden Spike Park. It happens to be William's birthday!  If you haven't gotten information from your scholar, check it out on Facebook or the website.
